Unsettling and hopeful in equal measure, music from David Bowie’s wide-ranging repertoire takes centre stage in this fantastic voyage through space and time.

Blending nostalgia with modernity, David Klowie sings live with curiosity, sensitivity, and emotive theatricality, as he steps into the role of storyteller to shine a spotlight on the sociopolitical climate of today.

This multimedia solo show delves deep into the very heart of what it means to be human in today's changing world; by boldly holding a mirror up to reality, David invites us to contemplate our role on this planet ...

Do we need a saviour? ... Is it too late? ... Is this all we’ve got?

... Or do we dare to dream up a better future? ...

DAVID BOWIE

Thank You for The Music, The Inspiration, and so much more …

Everyone knows Bowie, and many are familiar with his music, but with a prolific career of over five decades, it has been a joy and an honour to explore his fantastically wide-ranging repertoire to bring some of the lesser-known numbers to new ears. His enormous body of genre-spanning work is packed with poetic metaphors and profound messages for humanity that are still as relevant today as when he first presented them to us.

You were, are, and always will be a star, a rock ‘n’ roll rebel, a true Artist, remembered for your soul love energy and unflinchingly elegant take on reality which you brought to this world with such grace, beauty, intelligence, and sophistication; from the moment you stepped out into the spotlight you cultivated an iconic legacy that continues to grow in your absence.

You shaped our world, created a culture, and defined a generation; you carved space for us outsiders, celebrated us kooks, and gave a voice to the lost and lonely. We are a better people because of you, and so lucky to have been blessed with your presence on our planet during this lifetime. Thank you for you : all that you are, all that you brought, and all that you still give as you continue to inspire generations of future legends.

… Bowie’s music lives on with magic, dance, and live song …

David Klowie was born out of my great love for both Bowie and Humanity, and my aim is to keep his music and spirit living on through live performance; telling his story, my own, and yours, by using my voice to sing his words, his inspired work sitting alongside and informing my own artistic input, so that the messages woven deep within his music can continue to be explored by new audiences, as well as appreciated by old fans from a new perspective.

Without Bowie, David Klowie wouldn’t exist, and as such it is him I have to thank the most, in a way words can barely do justice, so I’ll just leave it at this : So long, Starman, see you at the next Bardo ... with my deepest appreciation, gratitude, and respect, Thank You. I love you.
